TailorKonnect ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("you"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the TailorKonnect mobile application and website.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up via Google OAuth, we collect your Google account name, email address, profile picture, and your shop name. This is required to create and secure your account.
Business Data
Customer names, phone numbers, measurements, orders, invoices, portfolio images, and voice notes that you enter into the app. This data belongs to you and is stored to provide the app's core functionality.
Usage & Device Data
We collect anonymous usage analytics such as feature usage frequency, app crashes, and performance data to improve the app experience. We also store your FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) token to deliver push notifications such as delivery reminders.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the TailorKonnect service
- To sync your data across devices via cloud backup
- To send order notifications via WhatsApp (only when you initiate)
- To send push notifications for delivery reminders (day before, delivery day, and overdue orders)
- To generate invoices and business reports
- To deliver real-time notifications via server-sent events (SSE)
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
- To communicate important updates about the service
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers (PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway) with encryption in transit. Images and voice notes are stored on AWS S3. We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS-only connections, JWT-based authentication with secure token storage (Keychain/EncryptedSharedPreferences), rate limiting on all API endpoints, and R8/ProGuard code obfuscation in release builds. Your business data is also stored locally on your device for offline access and synced to the cloud for backup purposes.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal or business data with third parties. Your customer data, measurements, and order information are never shared with anyone. When you share an order tracking link via WhatsApp, only the specific order's status and details are visible on the public tracking page — no other data is exposed. We may share anonymous, aggregated usage data with analytics providers to improve the app.
6. Your Rights
- Access: You can access all your data within the app at any time.
- Export: You can export your customers, orders, and measurements as CSV files at any time from within the app.
- Deletion: You can request complete account and data deletion by contacting us on WhatsApp.
- Correction: You can edit and update your data at any time within the app.
